How To Use Laundry Powder
If using a top loading or semi-automatic washing machine, add powder directly into the drum before adding laundry. If using a front loading washing machine, add powder to the relevant sector of the drawer.
To get the most out of your laundry powder and to achieve optimum wash results, the powder must be dosed correctly. See our top tips below to achieve the best results from your wash:
- For a standard wash, use 60g of powder.
- If you live in a hard water area, add an extra 30g of powder
- If using a program that includes a pre-wash, add 60g extra powder.
- For heavily soiled laundry, add more powder to a maximum of 240g
- For hand washing, dilute 60g powder per 10L of water.
Always remember, prior to laundering clothes, always check the care label of each item being added to the wash to ensure the method used is suitable.
What Not To Do
Always wash similar colours together. Never overload your washing machine. Do not wash flame-resistant fabrics in water above 50°C. Do not soak non-colourfast fabrics, flame resistant fabrics, leather or items with metal fasteners.
