5 Ways to Use Zoflora

Zoflora is one the nation's favourite cleaning products. Not only does Zoflora multipurpose concentrated solution leave homes sparkling clean with a refreshing long lasting fragrance, it kills 99.9% of bacteria too. Although not tested specifically against COVID-19, Zoflora is proven to make over 99.9% of other coronaviruses inactive when diluted at a ratio of 40:1, so you can be sure that you're making sure you home is safe from viruses!

Zoflora comes in a concentrated form, giving you lots of flexibility when using the product. We've put together the top five ways to use Zoflora so that you can get the most out of your cleaning products:

Mop and Bucket

 

Using Zoflora in a mop and bucket is probably the first way of using the product that comes to mind. Zoflora is perfect for removing those germs from your home that are brought inside on peoples feet.

Simply dilute in a mop bucket at the recommend ratio (see below) and start mopping! Once diluted, Zoflora is suitable for use on tiles, lino and most types of hard floors.

 

Recommended Dilution Dilute 4 capfuls of Zoflora in a 1.6L bucket of water. Always remember to wear protective gloves to keep you hands safe from cleaning products.

 

Cloth and Bucket

 

If you’ve got surfaces around your home that you clean and disinfect on a regular basis, why not use Zoflora? Simply replace your mop for a cloth to clean down surfaces in your home. We’d recommend pre-cleaning any heavy soiling first, then simple wet your cloth, wring and wipe. Not only will your home be clean and free from germs, the unmistakable fresh fragrance of Zoflora products will linger for hours too!
 

Remember, Zoflora shouldn’t be used on polished wooden surfaces and when using on soft furnishings, always test for colour fastness first (we’d recommend this with any cleaning product!)

Trigger Spray Bottle

 

Our personal favourite. If you don’t want to lug a mop bucket and cloth around the house, Zoflora can be used in a trigger bottle. Not only is it more convenient to carry around the house, it can also be kept close by in a cupboard for any ad-hoc cleaning and disinfecting that you need to do. When used in a trigger spray, Zoflora can also double up as an air freshener.
 

Remember, always label trigger bottles with the product that’s inside. This can prevent accidents from happening due to be unsure of what’s in the bottle.

 

Recommended Dilution Dilute 2 capfuls of Zoflora in a 800ml trigger bottle. Always wear protective gloves to keep your hands safe when using cleaning products.

 

Disinfecting Cleaning and Hygiene Equipment

 

Zoflora can be used to sanitise your cleaning and hygiene equipment. This includes items from cloths to mop heads and even toilet brushes. Simple dilute Zoflora at the ratio mentioned below, and soak your equipment for 10 minutes in the solution.
 

To ensure that you are cleaning your home as hygieneically as possible, we’d recommend having colour-coding your cleaning equipment for each area, such as red for the bathroom and yellow for the kitchen. By following this handy tip, you can have peace of mind that no germs are transferred around your home.

Neat / Undiluted

 

Zoflora can also be used to eliminate odours in pipe work. Simply treat plug holes and drains with a single cap of undiluted Zoflora. It’s best to do this at night after all of the household chores have been competed to allow the product time over night to eliminate bacteria.
