Pledging the Armed Forces Covenant
The Armed Force Covenant represents a promise by the nation that those who have served, and their families, are treated fairly. Spectrum Cleaning Solutions Ltd, the owner of The Cleaning Collective, became a signatory to the covenant on the 15th July 2022. By pledging to the Armed Forces Covenant, Spectrum Cleaning Solutions and all of it's sales channels (including The Cleaning Collective) demonstrates support for the Armed Forces Community and the principles of the Covenant.
What is the Armed Forces Covenant?
The Armed Forces Covenant is not a charitable organisation, but a promise from the nation to those who serve or have served, and their families, to ensure they are treated fairly and are not disadvantaged in their every day lives. This includes when seeking to access public or private goods and services in the UK, and special consideration where appropriate for those who have given the most such as the injured and the bereaved.
The defense of the realm is the first duty of Government, a role fulfilled by our Armed Forces that requires sacrifice of civil freedoms, facing danger, and sometimes suffering serious injury or death. Families play a vital role in supporting the operational effectiveness of our Armed Forces.
The Armed Forces Covenant relies on the people, communities, and businesses of the UK to actively support it in order to make a difference. This includes voluntary and charitable bodies, private organisations, and the actions of individuals in supporting the Armed Forces.
