way to keep toilets clean, fresh and odour-free. Each block contains millions
of live, safe bacteria and powerful enzymes. Together, these break down
organic soiling inside the cistern, pipework and drain. Furthermore, a
water-activated blue dye turns the flush water blue, giving a clean, fresh
look with every flush.

How do Royal Flush biological cistern blocks work?
Royal Flush biological cistern blocks work differently to standard chemical
toilet cleaners. The live bacteria get to work as soon as the block dissolves,
breaking down organic matter in the cistern. As a result, soiling does not
build up over time. The biological action also continues after flushing — it
works through the pipes and into the drain or septic tank. This helps to stop
blockages, crust build-up and the need for tanker uplift. In addition, Royal
Flush reduces limescale, keeping the cistern and bowl cleaner for longer.
How to use biological cistern blocks
Royal Flush biological cistern blocks are easy to fit. The soluble wrapper
means you drop the block straight into the cistern — no unwrapping needed.
First, close the toilet lid and remove the cistern cover. Then flush the
toilet to empty the tank and place the block away from the water inlet.
Replace the cistern lid. When the blue colour of the flush water fades,
however, it is time to add a new block to keep up protection.

Each Royal Flush block weighs 50g and has a soluble wrapper for clean,
easy handling. The blocks are blue and lemon-scented. Each block contains a
minimum of 1.0 x 10⁸ cfu/g of safe, non-pathogenic bacteria. The cleaning
agents are biodegradable and meet EC Regulation No. 648/2004 on detergents.
Royal Flush biological cistern blocks carry a Danger signal word under CLP
Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. Therefore, wear gloves and safety glasses when
handling. Keep away from eyes — if eye contact occurs, rinse well with water
and get medical help straight away. Store in the sealed tub in a cool,
well-ventilated place and keep out of reach of children. Do not release
directly to natural watercourses.
